In support of our growth ambitions, we are looking for a passionate recruiter to join our friendly international team who shares our dedication of working towards a clean and sustainable future. The role is based in Berlin on a part time basis (20 hours per week) with some opportunities for occasional travel to represent Apricum at key universities and careers fairs.
About Apricum
Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory is a globally active transaction advisory and strategy consulting firm focused exclusively on solar, wind, energy storage, green mobility and digital energy. Our Berlin HQ currently comprises management consultants and financial advisors, an office manager and a marketing manager. We also offer internships lasting three to six months open to current students. Whilst we have a very specific professional profile that we look for when hiring, we also assign great importance to soft skills and team fit.
The role
Based in our Berlin office, you are responsible for Apricum’s recruiting needs from hiring the best and brightest interns to highly experienced, outstanding consulting and finance professionals. Your creative ideas and strong implementation skills will enhance and develop our current recruiting process, proactively taking Apricum to the top candidates.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative and individual recruiting strategies for different positions to attract the best talent and build a talent pipeline to ensure future hiring success
- Source top candidates both online (e.g., relevant job portals, proactively reaching out to suitable candidates in online networks) and offline (via presentations and face-to-face meetings)
- Screen all applications and forward suitable candidates internally for further review
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle including conducting some telephone/skype and face-to-face interviews in conjunction with the consultants, and overseeing the hiring and onboarding (supported by the office manager)
- Build a network with key universities for recruiting interns and consultants e.g., with MBA, master’s and alumni program coordinators
- Be a brand ambassador for Apricum, representing us at careers fairs and giving presentations at key universities
Your profile
- You are a true people person with outstanding interpersonal skills and strong empathy
- You have a minimum of two years of experience as a hands-on talent acquisition manager or similar HR function with a focus on professional services roles (ideally placing consultants and advisors)
- You are pragmatic with great initiative, exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Superb communication skills by phone, face to face and by email
- Providing a positive candidate experience is important to you
- You take a proactive approach to finding new solutions and driving improved processes
- You communicate easily and effectively in both German and English
- You are a good public speaker and like being in front of an audience
- You have ideally a BA in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field
