Dr. Florian Sieber
Apricum is pleased to announce Dr. Florian Sieber’s appointment to its team of senior advisors. Dr. Sieber is an expert in strategy, project delivery and M&A in the energy and cleantech sectors.
Based in Hungary, Dr. Sieber has deep expertise in corporate strategy, structuring and delivering cross-border commercial transactions and complex multi-disciplinary projects.
Having led and executed M&A transactions in more than 15 countries around the world, Dr. Sieber will bring this extensive experience, know-how and impressive network, particularly in central and eastern Europe, to a range of transaction advisory mandates at Apricum.
Prior to his current strategic and commercial advisory role focusing mainly on projects in the cleantech sector, he spent 10 years at MOL Hungarian Oil & Gas Plc in several senior positions in exploration & production, including vice president of business development and commercial and head of legal. There Dr. Sieber led numerous M&A, joint venture, restructuring and commercial projects. Prior to that he worked as a lawyer in M&A and venture capital at Hogan Lovells LLP.
Dr. Sieber holds a master’s degree in law from the University of New South Wales, Australia, a Ph.D. in law from the University of Passau, Germany and a diploma in economics and management from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
