Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory acted as commercial advisor to their client Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH as part of an investor consortium including eCapital and btov Partners related to digital energy startup 1KOMMA5°’s latest EUR 200M Series A funding round.
Apricum provided commercial due diligence services serving as a basis for Haniel’s investment decision in 1KOMMA5°.
Alongside the investor consortium, Porsche Ventures, Eurazeo, Blue Elephant Ventures and the Schürfeld family also participated in the round. The capital is to be used for further acquisitions, investments in digitization and the development of the energy IOT platform.
Founded in 2021 by ex-Tesla director Philipp Schröder, 1KOMMA5° aims to be a “one-stop-shop” for sales, installation and services covering solar systems, heat pumps, energy storage and charging stations interconnected by an energy management system. They offer customers such as homeowners integrated solutions under one roof to facilitate the clean energy transition and achieve energy independence.
