Christian Orr
Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory is delighted to welcome Christian Orr, who joins our London office as an analyst. Christian brings a wealth of expertise in solar and wind acquisitions, a testament to his dedication to the renewable energy sector.
Christian’s professional journey includes experience as the M&A lead at Fuse Energy (formerly Tesseract). He also played a pivotal role as an analyst at Weezy contributing to the success of the UK’s first 15-minute grocery delivery service and their sale to Getir.
Christian also brings valuable experience in the acquisition of operational solar and wind projects, greenfield solar development, retail energy supply and consumer and tech startups. His skills encompass market scoping, deal origination, financial modeling, due diligence, SPA negotiation, investment committee preparation and renewable asset management. Christian’s achievements include leading the acquisition of 17 MW of operational solar projects in England and securing preferred bidder status for a retail energy supplier with 100 MW of operational assets and a 1.8 GW development pipeline.
Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from the university of Warwick, equipping him with strong analytical skills. In his free time, Christian enjoys cycling, kitesurfing and hiking and he has recently got back from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
