Frank Wouters
Apricum is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Wouters to its team of senior advisors. Based in Abu Dhabi, Mr. Wouters is a highly regarded expert in renewable energy policy with significant expertise in the commercial development of energy projects and renewable energy financing. With several decades of experience, Mr. Wouters has held various senior roles in which he has advised on energy strategy, markets, risk mitigation and technologies and has led the financial structuring of multiple RE projects.
Previous roles include deputy-director general of the International Renewable Energy Association (IRENA) and director of Masdar Clean Energy. Currently he is director of the EU GCC Clean Energy Network and director at Gore Street Capital.
Mr. Wouters holds a master of science in mechanical engineering from the Delft University of Technology.
