Apricum Project Manager Alexandra Popova
Apricum – the Cleantech Advisory is happy to welcome Alexandra Popova as the newest project manger to its strategy consulting team. Passionate about developing technological solutions to climate change, Alexandra’s advanced analytics, IT and energy sector experience will help Apricum’s clients not only profit from the renewable energy revolution but also accelerate a broader global shift towards clean energy use.
Alexandra is an experienced management consultant whose core skills lay in digital applications for energy systems, e.g., machine learning algorithms in operations, smart grids, and digitalization of energy retail. She also brings strong business consulting abilities that include strategy development and execution, as well as advanced analytics implementation.
Prior to joining Apricum, Alexandra was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company where some of her recent projects included developing a technology roadmap for an energy company, supporting the global launch of a digital player in the energy retail space, and carrying out a market assessment for an energy generation start up. Alexandra has also developed and implemented a series of advanced analytic algorithms for various applications, which include pricing, supply chain optimization and market forecasting.
Based in London, Alexandra earned a master’s in energy systems from the University of Oxford. Alexandra is fluent in both English ad Russian and enjoys rowing and sailing in her free time.
